Ellen Bender provides instruction to all ages and for all levels in flute, piano, music theory, and music composition.

Ellen Bender gives lessons in the Needham, Massachusetts area to students from Needham and surrounding towns, including Dedham Dover, Newton, Norwood, Wayland, Weston, and Westwood. ​

Philosophy of Teaching

​I believe that every student is individual and unique, and deserves my fullest attention: preparation, energy, compassion, encouragement, and imagination. It is my passion and responsibility as a teacher to impart knowledge and offer guidance in helping students gain skills, confidence, and an appreciation of excellence. It is my goal and hope that over the course of study, students will develop a love of music and music making.
